    Now more than ever, insurance companies are restricting and dictating Physical Therapy reimbursements and treatment. They decide how many visits will be covered and what codes are accepted, which ultimately limits the practitioners autonomy and treatment options for you. In addition, when the field of physical therapy went to a doctorate it was no longer required to get a physician referral to see a physical therapist. This means you could see a PT as soon as you were in pain without waiting for a physician appointment or you can get a second opinion about your child’s motor milestone development and put your mind at ease. HOWEVER, a lot of insurance companies still require the physician referral even though legally and professionally it is not required.

       It is for these reasons, Kinection is an out-of-network provider, meaning we do not contract with insurance. Because we do not contract with insurance, our prices are set and completely transparent. Seeing a cash based physical therapist will often cost less than going through insurance depending on the treatment plan.  With Kinection, You will always know exactly what you’re going to pay before you get started.

     We accept HSA and FSA. We can also provide a Superbill for each session, which is a document you may submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement if you choose.
